When my days as a stay-at-home mom ended, I took a leap into a new career—one that deepened my connection and love for the Puget Sound community.
I have to pinch myself when I take in this region, grateful that I get to call it home. As a Seattle native, I proudly consider myself an ambassador for this incredible place.
But in high school, I couldn’t wait to leave! I did an academic exchange in Europe, which opened my eyes to the world and gave me perspective. Upon return, I met my husband, Jason, in college. We married young and had our 2 children, Riley and Sadie, soon after. After college I climbed the corporate ladder at Starbucks until I left to be a stay-at-home mom, a role I fully embraced. For 7 years, I was deeply involved in my kids’ education and everyday lives––I think I did a fantastic job as their mother! However, as they grew older and became more independent, I found myself with too much free time. I needed a new direction.
I went back to the University of Washington to finish my degree, something I didn’t need but did purely for myself. I studied English Literature and American Indian Studies, two subjects I loved. Around the same time, I began working at a construction company as an office manager. I had worked with this company before as a client and was so hands-on during the project that I was offered a job to help them stay on track.
I worked with this company for 10 years, and I genuinely enjoyed the work. Everything revolved around customer service—helping clients achieve their goals. As I became more immersed in the world of construction, I realized I wanted to go even further and become a REALTOR®. Leaving the company after a decade to enter the next chapter of my life felt like a natural progression.
I understood the value of a great REALTOR® when my family moved due to disruptive neighbors. We sold our house and moved within 5 weeks—an incredibly stressful process. But that challenge turned into a blessing when we moved into a neighborhood that blew our minds; the neighbors look after each other’s kids and there are always extra hands to help. I didn’t know neighborhoods like that still existed! That experience deepened my appreciation for finding the right home and the right community. It also solidified my passion for helping others find their own perfect place. As an ambassador of the Pacific Northwest, I love being the person who guides people to their own little slice of heaven.
When I’m not working, I enjoy cooking, gardening, spending time with my kids, walking my dogs, and reading—especially historical novels. Jason and I are still together—28 years and counting—and we enjoy going to live concerts. I also volunteer in our local school, listening to kids read aloud and coaching them in fluency. I’ve been involved in our local school district for many years and I’m proud of the education our local teachers provide.
Looking back, my journey into real estate has been a beautiful, winding path. Now, I get to use my skills and passion to help others find peace in a city I treasure.
I genuinely care about people, especially my clients. Meeting them and introducing them to our beautiful region—a place I love—is one of my favorite parts of my job. I take the time to understand who my clients are, their motivations and goals, so I can help them find the perfect fit.
I provide a concierge-level experience, where clients aren’t just numbers—they’re people I care about and think fondly of. Many have been with me for years, and I still reach out on their birthdays. I want to serve them as individuals, not just as another deal.
One of my strengths is helping families relocate. My deep knowledge of our area’s neighborhoods allows me to match families with communities that fit their lifestyles. I also have extensive experience with school districts, thanks to my children and my involvement in public education. I can guide parents through different districts and even special education programs; I love working with families who have children with special needs. Above all, I always prioritize my clients' goals and do what’s right for them. Their dreams remain top of mind.
Sincerely,
